Big underground maze in heart of Taipei

Taipei Main Station is the busiest station in Taipei Metro's network, accounting for 7.6 percent of the traffic, with daily passenger numbers of 316,000 on average. The station, with four levels below the surface, connects passengers to services of the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) and the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp.(HSR), as well as the nearby long-haul bus terminal and the Taoyuan Metro's line to the country's main international airport.

Apart from the metro station itself, Taipei Main Station also comprises five underground malls connected by many passageways in between. Visitors, as well as locals, sometimes get lost in the giant underground maze, which has led to the Taipei City government creating the Taipei Navi app just for the station.
