The obverse of the gold bar is engraved with the names and logos of BOT and the Central Mint, along with the weight (37.5g), fineness (Fine Gold 999.9), and serial number of the gold bar. The theme “Gallop Toward New Milestones” depicts a spirited horse galloping through mountainous terrain blanketed with lush clovers, representing courage and unending good fortune, and implying exceptional advantages and immediate success. It expresses the hope that the momentum of a galloping horse will usher in a new chapter of "taking the lead and making successful leaps forward." The holographic element in the background is an anti-counterfeiting feature that displays different colors when viewed at different angles. It also serves a dual purpose of accentuating the majestic horse, as well as the sumptuousness of the gold bar.
