To welcome the 2026 Lunar New Year, China Airlines, a Taiwan-based carrier, is serving festive in-flight desserts to travelers as part of the holiday celebrations. From February 16 to February 18, the limited-time New Year desserts can be enjoyed by travelers on flights departing from Taiwan. The theme, Ang Ku Kueh - Endless Blessings, from traditional culture became the inspiration for this year’s Red Tortoise Cake symbolizing longevity. The candied orange peel and white bean paste cake will appeal to those with a sweet tooth, and the BAC Caramel Nut Pastry, with limited edition New Year packaging, as well as the WooTEA co-branded Gold Ingot Pineapple Cake and Honey Bear Cake will provide a perfect start to the holiday festivities. These desserts will add to the festive New Year atmosphere even as travelers fly from place to place.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, China Airlines has introduced the Pink Chia Honey Lemonade cold-pressed fruit juice as the new welcome drink for Business Class. The refreshing taste of lemon is infused with the elegant Lychee fragrance of Taiwanese honey to achieve the perfect balance of the sweet and sour.
