(中央社財經訊息服務20260520 16:56:32)On May 16, 2026, the Bank of Taiwan held the All-Hands Eco Hike at the Guandu Hiking Trail in Beitou District to encourage employees and their families to visit the mountains and forests, go outdoors, and embrace nature. While relaxing their minds and bodies, they also embodied the bank's determination in conserving the environment and protecting the earth by taking part in a simple clean-up activity.

This event received enthusiastic support from existing employees, retirees, and their families, garnering nearly two thousand participants. Joanne Ling, Chairperson of Bank of Taiwan, also rallied the management team to participate in the event. The hike took place along the Guandu Hiking Trail located behind Taipei National University of the Arts, where the rich artistic atmosphere soothes the souls of those who come to enjoy the outdoors. As the terrain gradually rises, the view opens up, allowing one to temporarily forget the hustle and bustle of the city. On this occasion, the bank’s employees and their families who participated in the hike did not forget to pick up litter along the way, fulfilling their mission of "keeping the mountains clean and taking litter down the mountain," and protecting the forests with concrete actions.

To encourage employees and their families to get outdoors, connect with nature, relieve stress, demonstrate environmental awareness of protecting the environment, and cultivate exercise habits, the Bank of Taiwan has been holding a hiking event on May 20 for many years. In addition to hosting the recreational activity that benefits the employees’ physical and mental health, the event also fulfills the bank’s corporate social responsibility of environmental protection and sustainability.
