(中央社訊息服務20260206 14:14:51)In observance of the United Nations' World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Museum of World Religions (MWR) hosted the "March in Harmony: A Youth's Journey of Pilgrimage" on February 4. This milestone event, coinciding with the MWR’s 25th anniversary, brought together over ten religious leaders and youth representatives to pray for a world in turmoil, putting into practice the "Spiritual Ecology" philosophy and the "Global Family of Love and Peace (GFLP)" vision advocated by MWR founder, Grand Master Hsin Tao.

The procession of over 80 participants embarked from the MWR’s renowned Pilgrimage Trail, symbolizing a journey of spiritual exploration. In a creative gesture for the new era, religious leaders held votive candles while youth representatives used mobile phone flashlights as symbolic lanterns of blessing. The delegation paused at the Great Hall of World Religions for prayers before issuing a "Peace Proclamation," transforming peace into an actionable daily practice.

The event reached its climax at the Golden Auditorium with a "Peace Doves Prayer Ritual." Following a Gospel reading by Fr. Emanuele Angiola, participants placed origami doves—symbols of global blessing—onto a driftwood globe installation by artist Wang Wei-Chiuan. This was followed by St. Francis’s "Canticle of the Sun," fostering a profound spiritual resonance across generations.

Distinguished participants included Most Rev. Thomas Chung An-Zu (Archbishop of Taipei), Ven. Master Xian Yue (CEO of MWR Development Foundation), and representatives from the Buddhist, Tienti, Orthodox, LDS, Jewish, Episcopal, I-Kuan Tao, Taoist, Muslim, and Hindu faiths. Together, they embodied Taiwan’s spirit of religious freedom.

"May the sacred light within each of us reflect upon one another, bringing radiance to the world," stated Ven. Master Xian Yue. A documentary of the event is currently in production for a UN contest. The day concluded with a vegan luncheon and a tour of the special exhibition “Light A Life X Live A Light” further highlighting the MWR’s essential role as a pivotal platform for interfaith exchange.
