Yunlin Goods highlights 30 popular local specialties and 51 newly certified brands, showcasing local brand strength
(中央社訊息服務20251107 18:12:28)The Yunlin County Government held the “Yunlin Goods Presentation and 30 Most Popular Local Specialty Award Ceremony” at the County Government Auditorium on May 20. County Magistrate Chang Li-shan awarded the 30 most popular local specialty manufacturers and the 51 brands that received the Yunlin Goods certification this year. In addition to brand owners, the event also included committee members who assisted in the annual review and representatives from well-known channels and companies to witness the strength of local brands!
County Magistrate Chang Li-shan stated that Yunlin is a major agricultural county with abundant and high-quality agricultural, fishery, and livestock products. In recent years, the county government has promoted the introduction of brand marketing concepts and smart technology into agriculture and established a rigorous certification system to create “Yunlin Goods,” the preferred local agricultural product brand. This program boasts 1,072 items, including abundant fresh agricultural raw materials, delicious and high-quality agricultural specialty processed products and cultural and creative products, as well as culturally distinctive tourist attractions. These high-quality and diverse products have won the favor of distributors, businesses, and the public. This year’s National Games was held in Yunlin. To allow athletes, coaches, and spectators to enjoy local delicacies, a public voting contest was held this year to select the “30 Most Popular Local Specialties in Yunlin.” This competition allowed online users to learn about specialty products of Yunlin Goods. We also hope that the selected products would provide the best possible purchasing experience for athletes, consumers, and tourists participating in this year’s major events.
County Magistrate Chang pointed out that in addition to awarding popular local specialties, a presentation was also held to congratulate and announce the 51 brand partners (197 local agricultural products and tourist attractions) that received the Yunlin Quality Product Certification this year, which was an impressive achievement. This year, Yunlin Goods has continued to achieve breakthroughs and innovations in its market development. In addition to its fourth consecutive year of collaboration with the Golden Horse Awards, it has generated sales of NT$35 million through supermarkets, highway service areas, and other channels. Furthermore, its collaborations with two major convenience stores on ice cream and fresh food lunch boxes have generated over NT$2.3 billion in industry revenue. This year, the company expanded its brand zone establishment and successfully exported to the popular Malaysian supermarket chain NSK Group, which established a Yunlin Liangpin zone for ambient temperature processed agricultural products. To date, the brand has accumulated over 5,000 sales locations both domestically and internationally. Yunlin Goods’ diverse domestic and international market presence allows consumers and the world to witness Yunlin’s agricultural strength.
Director of the Department of Agriculture, Wei Sheng-de (魏勝德), pointed out that a total of 95 products competed for the 30 most popular local specialties. All the participating products are high-quality products that have received the Yunlin Quality Product Certification and are absolutely safe and reliable. The cumulative number of votes exceeded 300,000. Wei thanked all Yunlin Goods’ partners for their active participation and joint efforts, allowing Yunlin Goods to continue to expand its sales venues and go international.
Director Wei explained that Yunlin County, rich in products, has created Yunlin Goods, a local agricultural product brand known as “Yunlin Goods, Must Be Premium.” By integrating online sales platforms, physical retail channels, and overseas market expansion, this multifaceted market strategy is enabling Yunlin Goods to enter a diverse international arena.
