Yunlin Good Products team secures overseas orders at Singapore Food Show
(中央社訊息服務20260506 10:55:28)Following the success of securing approximately NT$100 million in orders at the Tokyo International Food Show in March, the Yunlin County Government led a delegation to the Singapore International Food Show to further expand its overseas sales of agricultural products. On April 21, at the Singapore Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Yunlin Good Products Expansion Delegation, led by Deputy Director Tsai Keng-yu of the Agriculture Department, accompanied by Deputy Representative Wu Wen-ling (吳文齡) of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, Deputy Executive Director Lin Cheng-ta (林正大) of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, and relevant county and city leaders and representatives, attended the opening ceremony. The delegation will explore international channels for Yunlin’s agricultural products during the four-day exhibition.
Deputy Director Tsai Keng-yu (蔡耿宇) of the Agriculture Department stated that Yunlin County’s agricultural products boast the highest output and quality in Taiwan. The county government places great emphasis on food safety, employing rigorous quality control to create the exclusive local brand “Yunlin Good Products,” which is currently available in major domestic retailers. To embody the spirit of “the more local, the more international,” and to promote Yunlin’s local brand internationally, Yunlin Good Products has been actively expanding its reach into major international markets in recent years. The Singapore International Food Show, which we are exhibiting at this year, is the largest professional food show in Southeast Asia. Singapore is located in the world’s economic and trade center, with a diverse culture and ethnic groups and a large Chinese market. For three consecutive years, the Yunlin Good Products Pavilion has received a lot of inquiries and orders during the exhibition. We are participating again this year and are sure to continue the momentum and bring more foreign orders to Yunlin agricultural products!
Deputy Director Tsai further pointed out that this Yunlin Good Products Pavilion invited seven responsible companies, including Yunlin Huwei Farm Produce Biotechnology Production Cooperative (Kowei Enterprise Co., Ltd.), Sheng Hua Food Co., Ltd., Ruichun Soy Sauce Co., Ltd., Yuan Jin Chuang Enterprise Co., Ltd., Dounan Township Farmers’ Association Grain Factory No. 2, Leadray Co, and Yutong Food Co., Ltd., to offer products such as bitter tea oil, sesame oil, peanut oil, room temperature chicken essence, Tianji black fungus drink, Tianji chicken floss, garlic oil paste, and sour cream. Yunlin is showcasing a wide variety of high-quality, market-potential products, including pickled chili peppers, fragrant bamboo shoots, original soy sauce, sugar-free soy sauce, vegetarian pickled cucumbers and meat, baby chicken essence, LOHAS Congee, baby congee, leisure drink, room temperature chicken soup, rice, congee co-branded gift boxes, sweet and warm free-range chicken congee, Sanji gluten grains, freshly roasted oats, green pea crisps, red lentil crisps, KUO crispy protein chips, and Sanji bean curd sheets. The aim is to introduce these products to the world, hoping that the diverse range of Yunlin fresh and processed agricultural products will capture the taste buds of consumers in Southeast Asia and other countries.
The Yunlin County Government’s Agriculture Department stated that Yunlin Good Products continues to promote its products in the Southeast Asian market. In addition to participating in the Singapore International Food Show again, it is also deepening cooperation with local supermarkets and other channels, hoping to further expand its cross-border marketing scale and showcase the quality of Taiwanese agricultural products and Yunlin’s strong capabilities in producing fresh agricultural products and processing technology to overseas consumers. Recently, Taiwan was approved by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) to resume its self-declared disease-free status for African swine fever. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the county government is proactively facilitating pork exports to Singapore, hoping that high-quality Yunlin pork products will be available in Singapore in the future.
