County Magistrate Chang Li-shan stated that the 23rd edition of the Taiwan Coffee Festival, themed “Coffee for Life,” symbolizes the beautiful rhythm of coffee integrating into life and connecting people with nature. The five-day event, which kicked off on Nov. 1 and closed on Nov. 9, attracted enthusiastic participation from 141 brands and businesses across 13 counties and cities in Taiwan. The event drew approximately one million visitors, setting a new record and generating over NT$50 million in business opportunities, successfully showcasing the cultural depth and brand appeal of Yunlin coffee.
Chang Li-shan pointed out that this year’s Taiwan Coffee Festival has been upgraded in both scale and content. Whether it’s the themed day activities or brand displays, the innovative energy of Yunlin’s coffee industry can be seen. In terms of cross-domain cooperation, not only do companies such as BMW Yun Jiabin Electric Vehicles, EasyCard Corporation, and Janfusun Fancyworld participate, but they also launched the “Coffee Map Stamp Collection Activity” to connect 42 local coffee shops in Yunlin, attracting tourists to explore Yunlin’s coffee culture and deeply experience the local characteristics.
Kinmen County Deputy Magistrate Lee Wen-liang stated that Yunlin has top-quality coffee and Kinmen has top-quality sorghum liquor, which complement each other perfectly. He hopes there will be opportunities for cooperation in the future, whether it’s coffee in sorghum or sorghum in coffee, which he believes will create a unique and new flavor.
Agriculture Director Wei Sheng-de pointed out that the Yunlin County Government will continue to use the festival brand as a platform to combine local agricultural, tourism and industrial innovation forces to promote the sustainable development of “coffee industry + lifestyle aesthetics”. Although the 2025 Taiwan Coffee Festival has come to a successful conclusion, the aroma of coffee from Yunlin continues to waft throughout Taiwan. Everyone is invited to visit Gukeng, experience the “Coffee For Life” lifestyle, and taste a good cup of coffee that belongs to Yunlin.
