Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan (張麗善) stated that the festival, centered in Gukeng for many years, has focused on upgrading and branding the coffee industry. By integrating agricultural, cultural, and design resources, the event has developed an international appeal. This marks the third time the festival has received international design recognition, a testament to the county government's long-term efforts in local revitalization and industrial transformation.
This year's winning entry utilized innovative curatorial thinking to connect diverse cities and brands and showcase the unique charm of Taiwanese coffee through spatial design, cultural experiences, and lifestyle aesthetics.
